Product Launch

From start-to-finish, I created a strategy & content needed for this special e-commerce launch.

The Goal:

Launch a special collection of Sherlock Holmes themed products via email, social media and to expand our audience in order to gain more sales.

The Strategy:

Influencer Seeding to Expand Our Views

I built partnerships with influencers in our ethical shopping industry for unboxing and reviews. These partnerships allowed us to reach 49,900K people outside our audience while staying within the brand’s limited marketing budget.

Content Creation

I copy wrote the script for a video trailer, shot photos and videos, edited final product video teaser, created graphics and ensured that all elements complemented each other. All elements were prepared in advance and ready to schedule and post over the course of the 3 month campaign.

Digital Marketing Campaign

I created a holistic digital marketing campaign that included timely emails, social media posts, and website updates. We also included Reels as part of our content creation as Instagram’s algorithm was favoring them as it’s newest feature.

Scheduling & Launch

I scheduled emails and social media posts to lead up to and launch our product. Copywriting and website updates were done in advance and implemented on launch day to provide excitement for fresh set of products.

Marketing Collateral:

Vibe — dark, moody and fitting of a stormy night at Sherlock Holmes’ office.

The Results:

Within 1 month we sold 80% of the product and sold out within the next few months! We reached 50K people outside our audience and built long-term strategic partnerships.
